Deemed “The X-Factor” by ESPN Magazine as the pro-skater who will change the course of the sport over the next decade, pro street skateboarding phenom NYJAH HUSTON (25, Laguna Beach, CA) has lived up to the hype, dominating street skating for the past decade. Winning six Street League Skateboarding (SLS) Super Crowns (including 2017-18-19), 12 X Games gold medals and the “Best Male Action Sports Athlete” award at the 2013, 2014 and 2019 ESPY Awards, he remains the face of skateboarding worldwide. Huston is also one of only two men ever to win three categories in the same year (2012) at the coveted Transworld SKATEboarding Annual Awards for “Best Street,” “Reader’s Choice,” and “Best Video Part” for “Rise & Shine.”
A household name to any fan of action sports, Huston, supported by his social following of over 6M fans, is regarded as the highest-paid street skater of all time. Huston joined Nike SB’s pro team in 2016 and launched his first signature Nike shoe in Spring 2018. The highly- anticipated Nyjah 2 is set to release in Spring 2020. Nyjah’s success has enabled him to partner with some of the best brands in the world, including Monster Energy, Element Skateboards, Prive Revaux sunglasses, MVMT watches, Social CBD, Ricta Wheels, and Topps). Nyjah was featured in the NFL’s pre-kick-off Super Bowl commercial in February 2020.
As he approaches his first Olympics in Tokyo 2020, skateboarding also makes its inaugural appearance at the biggest sporting event in the world. Known to be immune to the pressure of his sport and the moment time and time again, the prodigy, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and born risk-taker shows us what living life, seemingly void of all fear, looks like, as he continues to capitalize on his technically precise and athletically inspiring skills on both the gnarliest street spots and in the heaviest competitions around the world.
