Hailing from Chandler, Arizona, Dashawn Jordan started skating at the young age of 8. In 2013, he burst onto the skate scene after winning the Phoenix stop of the Element Make it Count contest, and has continued to wow the industry with his impressive skills and tenacity ever since.
In 2016, Dashawn secured the Golden Ticket win at the highly competitive Tampa Am event, allowing him to compete in the prestigious 2017 Street League Series. There, he secured his place on the Street League Series pro event circuit and became the first amateur in history to win an SLS contest. In 2019 he topped that by winning the first-ever USA Skateboarding Men’s Street National Championships, and was rarely outside the top ten in any event that year.
Dashawn has not looked back since, and only continues to grow and prove he is a dominant force in skateboarding. Starting the 2021 competition season with another National Championship win, Dashawn’s still in the early stages of his career and continues to develop his professional path.
