Hi, I am Bryce! I am a skateboarder and high school student. I am the 2019 USA National Champion for Women's Park format and on Team USA Skateboarding for 2019 & 2020, with a shot at skating Park in Tokyo Olympics in summer of 2020. I am a native of Encinitas California and I love to surf, play volleyball and write songs on my ukulele. Skateboarding has taken me to 5 continents and 7 countries and allowed me to make so many international friends. We all compete against each other on tour, but really we are one big skateboarding family with non-stop laughter. Skateboarding allows me to bring out the best parts of myself and has become a part of my soul. Skateboarding has made me a better person. Go SDA Mustangs!

Because I do so much traveling for skateboarding competitions, it has been a little tough trying not to miss too much school, but I really want to stay in public school as long as possible, and even go to college. Skateboarding is actually art for me, and therefore it tends to bring out the creativity in all other parts of my life. So I have been able to write some songs and am having fun expressing myself with that. I also really enjoy volleyball and the team experience that brings. Right now I play for the SDA Mustangs and also the Moonlight Crasher Club. Growing up in Encinitas has been a special experience. We are a hip, seaside community with great waves to surf all year long and amazing places to eat. My local sponsors here are more like family to me, since I am lucky enough to have lived here my whole life, like Encinitas Surfboards and McGill’s skate shop.

My local skatepark ever since I was age 5, is the YMCA Encinitas—they are also like family to me and I still mostly skate there. In my backyard, I have a quirky little wooden bowl, called the Iguana Bowl, named after my late great iguana Spike who lived for 22 years. It is my backyard oasis that is for sure, and I love having sessions with friends and family there. My longest sponsor is Silly Girl skateboards and they have been sending me boards also since I was age 5, so I had to give them a shout-out.

I live with my mom and dad and my little sister Summer who is also a shredder. I also have a dog and 2 cats to round out the family. Life has been so good so far and every day brings more excitement and new challenges!
