Mariah Duran was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. Many say it was the standout hardflip at the first-ever women’s Street League contest that put her on the map. 2016 was a breakout year for Duran as she took home the silver medal at X Games and released two full street parts before turning pro for Meow Skateboards. In 2017, Mariah snagged her first Street League podium finish at the Super Crown World Championship. With her big bag of extremely difficult tricks, it's easy to see why Duran is a back-to-back Women’s Street X Games gold medalist.
Mariah recently appeared in both Mountain Dew and adidas television commercials, the highlight being a spot directed by Jonah Hill that aired during the 2020 Grammy’s.
Mariah is the face of adidas’ Olympics / skateboarding initiatives. Representing the next generation of female street skaters, her skating is super technical. She skates big stair sets and rails with finesse, ease and power. Mariah made the 2019 and 2020 USA Skateboarding teams and is pumped to represent her country on the road to the 1st-ever Skateboarding Olympic Games.
