SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Skate True will celebrate its 13th anniversary on Saturday, August 1, with its annual skateboarding contest at KTR Scottsdale, bringing together skaters of all ages for a full day of friendly competition and community.
The event will feature six divisions, welcoming everyone from young beginners to advanced riders. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., with competition running from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. using a two-minute jam format that gives every skater an opportunity to showcase their skills.
Competitors will battle for custom trophies and prize packs made possible through the support of local skateboarding partners, including Sidewalk Surfer, Triple Eight, Funktion Design, and NDSK8 Photography.
For more than a decade, Skate True has played an important role in growing Arizona’s skateboarding community by providing a welcoming environment for skaters of every age and ability. Congratulations to @skatetrue13 on reaching this milestone and continuing to create opportunities for the next generation of skateboarders.
