43 Skaters Compete at TASL Contest #2 at Southside Skatepark
The Texas Amateur Skateboard League (TASL) returned to Southside Skatepark in Houston, Texas on July 11, 2026 for the second stop of the 2026 season. A total of 43 skaters competed throughout the day across Street, Park/Mini Ramp, and Vert/Bowl, representing a wide range of age groups and skill levels from across Texas.
Division winners were awarded two 3-Day passes to MoonPay X Games New Orleans 2026, courtesy of USA Skateboarding, X Games, and the X Games Foundation, giving amateur skaters the opportunity to experience one of action sports' premier events.
The event showcased the continued growth of amateur skateboarding in Texas, with strong participation from returning competitors and first-time entrants alike. TASL continues to provide a structured competitive pathway for skaters while creating opportunities to progress through USA Skateboarding's national amateur competition system.
