Texas Amateur Skateboard League Returns to Southside Skatepark on July 11
The Texas Amateur Skateboard League (TASL) returns this Saturday, July 11, for Contest #2 of the 2026 season at Southside Skatepark in Houston, Texas. As part of the USA Skateboarding-supported amateur pathway, the event brings together skaters from across the state to compete in Street, Park/Mini, and Vert/Bowl while earning valuable season points and national recognition. Competition begins Saturday morning with Vert/Bowl, followed by Park/Mini and Street. Divisions include Girls, 7 & Under, 8–11, 12–15, 16 & Over, Girls Advanced, and Open Advanced, giving skaters of all ages and abilities the opportunity to compete in a structured contest environment. Adding even more excitement, each division winner will receive two 3-Day MoonPay X Games New Orleans passes, connecting grassroots skateboarding directly to one of the sport’s biggest professional events. (Southside Skate Park)
Skaters must register online before the event. There will be no onsite registration. Contest entry is $45 for the first discipline and $35 for each additional discipline, plus a $10 Southside Skatepark entry fee for all competitors. (liveheats.com)
